Program Highlights

Nutrition

Club members receive nutritious dinners and/or snacks daily at all sites. Youth participate in weekly nutrition classes.

SMART Moves

Members receive training on decision-making processes and avoiding smoking, alcohol and other drugs. Activities take place in sports leagues, assemblies and art classes.

Seal-a-Smile

Club branches partner with Marquette University's School of Dentistry to apply cavity-preventing sealants to members' teeth. Youth participate in oral hygiene activities.

Play It Smart

Members play a life-sized board game, provided by Northwestern Mutual and complete with giant die, to practice solid decision-making processes.

Young Women's & Young Men's Programs

Club teens discuss a range of current lifestyle issues including safe sex, responsibility, education and career options.

Health Hours/Fairs

Regular sessions and gatherings held for all Club youth emphasize topics of concern for each developmental stage.

PALS

The Clubs' youngest members practice hygiene basics, stranger awareness, fire safety and social interaction skills.
