Club Manager - Pieper Hillside
Pay Rate:Competitive with benefits (negotiable with experience)
Hours: 40
Education: Bachelors level degree in Education, Leadership, Social Work or other related fields required.
Skills: CPR Certification (Adult, Child, Infant) preferred, or attend and successfully complete certification within first six months of employment. Demonstrated examples of managing through crisis, re-designing to enhance productivity, efficiency and/or effectiveness and new program design/development a must. Ability to develop and manage a team of paid and volunteer staff. Ability to learn and utilize new technologies and apply technology to communication, logistics and other key job tasks. Basic computer literacy and ability to utilize excel and agency software for tracking budgets and attendance.
Experience: At least 3 years of non-profit management experience. Experience in managing staff or a facility a plus. Proven experience in motivating and accomplishing work through others, including team mates and peers. Fiscal management skills and the ability to follow a budget. High level of creativity and problem solving ability. Ability to develop and manage a team of paid and volunteer staff. Proven experience in delivery of youth work programming for young people between the ages of 6 and 18. Must have a valid WI driver’s license, good driving record, and meet state required automobile insurance minimums.

Skills: This individual should demonstrate a willingness to work with youth of ethnically diverse backgrounds, and have an understanding of developmental characteristics of youth ages 6-17. Be self-motivated, creative, energetic and spontaneous. Good communication skills, written and verbal. Experiences or a background in a variety of activities that could include: craft projects, drawing, painting, clay work, ceramics, macrame, ink printing, wood carving, and other hand skills. CPR Certification (Adult, Child, Infant) preferred, or attend and successfully complete certification within first six months of employment.
Experience: At least 10 classroom hours of child development training. Must possess a variety of experiences working with youth ages 6-17. Areas of emphasis should include: Arts & Crafts.

Skills: Demonstrated examples of managing groups of young people to ensure safety and ability to handle crisis situations. Ability to supervise direct service staff members. Demonstrated examples of engaging young people in social-recreational programming including using both pre-planned activities as well as “on-the-fly”. Sustained ability to assist in coordination of and adherence to logistics and scheduling to allow for successful implementation social-recreational and other outcome based programming. High level of computer literacy and ability to utilize excel and access applications effectively for entering programmatic and attendance data. Proven ability to identify and interact effectively with community partners. CPR Certification (Adult, Child, Infant) preferred, or attend and successfully complete certification within first six months of employment. Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and meet state required automobile insurance minimums.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience directly relating to youth and youth programming.
