Making a real difference in the lives of Milwaukee children is a priority for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. In an effort to quantify that difference in Club members' lives, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee partnered with Milwaukee Public Schools to examine the relationships between Club involvement, school performance and juvenile delinquency.

Conducted by Zarimba & Associates and the Planning Council for Health & Human Services Inc., the study continues to track school attendance, academic achievement levels, the desire to pursue education after high school, crime and health indicators to see what affects the Clubs have on its members compared to their peers who do not attend.

Additional study results are expected to continue showing high value in Club membership for youth who live in disadvantaged circumstances.
