Apply to be a Volunteer

How to Apply
  1. To apply to be a volunteer, please fill out the online Volunteer Application Form.
  2. After the application is received, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the Background Information Disclosure (BID) attached.
  3. Please complete the Background Information Disclosure and return within 3 days of your application. This form will allow us to initiate the Volunteer Process.    
  4. You will be scheduled a TB test once the background check has been approved. We accept TB tests that were taken within the last year.
  5. All volunteers must attend a New Volunteer Orientation. The sessions are held twice every month. Once the application has been completed volunteers will receive more information. Each orientation will start at 4:30pm and last about 90 minutes. These times are subject to change based on the number of confirmed volunteers.
Volunteer Process
To ensure the safety of our members, all volunteers must complete the necessary volunteer requirements. Before a volunteer can start, they must submit to and pass a criminal background check and TB test. Once these requirements have been met, the applicant is required to attend a 90-minute Volunteer Orientation & Training session before starting in a volunteer role.
*All volunteers who complete the volunteer application are not always approved to volunteer with us. Submitted applications that do not meet the necessary requirements will be discarded and the applicant will be notified.  Acceptance into the Volunteer Program is contingent on all parts of the volunteer process.
