Four Reasons to Get to Know Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee
Although the Boys & Girls Clubs has a long history and is the area's largest youth serving agency, many believe we're just places for "gym and swim” type activities. We're so much more than that – we offer more than 100 programs year-round to meet the needs and interests of our members.
1. The more a young person visits, the more Boys & Girls Clubs can benefit his or her life. We know frequent attendance at a Boys & Girls Club can positively influence a child or teen's academic performance, decision-making and health choices.
2. Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is a good investment
. Charity Navigator, America's largest independent charity evaluator, gave us its Four-Star rating for sound fiscal management five years in a row.
3. Boys & Girls Clubs' 38 locations are great places to work. Our trained employees welcome nearly 5,000 children each day into our clubhouses. Along with leading fun and engaging activities, they serve as role models and mentors.
4. You can be part of a young person's success story. There are multiple ways to contribute: as an employee, a volunteer, donor, or corporate sponsor.
We invite you to get know us better and help us make bridges to brighter futures for Milwaukee's children and teens. There's a number of ways to do this:
at one of our locations or special events.
